SaveLocally Announces Partnership with Spandana Foundation

Pleasanton, Calif., July 28, 2009 -- SaveLocally Inc. will partner with the Spandana Foundation for fundraising in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Spandana will use SaveLocally’s new online coupon program in its fundraising efforts.

SaveLocally began its soft launch in San Jose in early June and is getting set to start its Northern California expansion.

The program is designed to serve nonprofits, bringing the traditional fundraising coupon book online and adding the power and convenience of the Internet.

At the same time, the program provides a powerful advertising channel for merchants and businesses, and compelling bargains for consumers. The $25 memberships give consumers access to online coupons from a wide array of local businesses, from restaurants to Web hosting and design companies.

SaveLocally’s eCoupons are also green coupons, as the online service eliminates the need to print the thousands of books (many of which are never used) that traditional publishers put out.

Spandana was established three years ago as a charitable trust dedicated to improving education and health care for the needy. The organization is based in Normal, Ill., and has fundraising operations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
